Left-Handed 5-String SR Range with Smooth Bartolini Punch

The Ibanez SR505AL MHL in Mahogany Brown Burst Low Gloss brings the slim SR bass feel to left-handed players who need 5-string range and flexible tone control. Its okoume body produces a bright, solid sound, giving the low B string a clear foundation while keeping the instrument comfortable for long sets and regular practice.

The SR5 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck is heat-treated for improved stability, durability and resistance to moisture and temperature changes. A 864 mm (34”) scale, 45 mm (1.77”) nut width, rosewood fretboard, 305 mm (12”) radius and 24 medium frets give the bass a fast, controlled feel across all five strings.

Bartolini BH2 pickups provide tight bottom-end, punchy midrange and a smooth response, with long blade pole pieces helping keep output balanced from string to string. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ adds detailed tone shaping, while EQ bypass lets the treble control operate as a passive tone knob.

The MR5S bridge allows +/-1.5mm adjustable string spacing around 16.5 mm (0.65”), helping you fine-tune right-hand feel.
