The Ibanez SR505A MHL in Mahogany Brown Burst Low Gloss is a 5-string SR bass for players who want extended low-end range in a slim, modern body shape. The okoume body provides a bright, solid sound, giving the bass a clear foundation for fingerstyle grooves, picked lines and tighter rhythm work.

The SR5 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck is heat-treated for improved stability, durability and resistance to moisture and temperature changes. With a 864 mm (34”) scale, 45 mm (1.77”) nut width, rosewood fretboard, 305 mm (12”) radius and 24 medium frets, it keeps the low B accessible while still feeling quick across the neck.

Bartolini BH2 pickups give the SR505A a tight bottom-end, punchy midrange and smooth response, with long blade pole pieces helping balance output from string to string. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ adds bass, mid and treble control, while the EQ bypass switch gives you passive operation with the treble knob acting as a passive tone control.

The MR5S bridge allows +/-1.5mm adjustable string spacing around 16.5 mm (0.65”), helping players fine-tune right-hand feel.
