The Ibanez SR500N MAM in Midnight Arctic Ocean Matte is a 4-string SR bass for players who want a slim, comfortable instrument with a bolder pickup voice. Its okoume body delivers a bright, solid sound, while the matte finish gives the bass a modern look without feeling flashy.

The SR4 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck is heat-treated for increased stability, durability and resistance to moisture and temperature changes. With a 864 mm (34”) scale, 38 mm (1.5”) nut width, rosewood fretboard, 305 mm (12”) radius and 24 medium frets, it feels fast and controlled for grooves, fills and movement across the neck.

Nordstrand Big Break pickups give the SR500N a full-bodied, powerful voice, combining split-coil weight with clear single-coil-style definition and noiseless performance. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ provides active bass, mid and treble shaping, with EQ bypass for passive operation and a 3-way mid frequency switch for 250Hz, 450Hz or 700Hz focus.

The MR5S bridge allows +/-1.5mm adjustable string spacing around 19 mm (0.75”), making the right-hand feel easy to fine-tune.
