The Ibanez SR500AL MHL in Mahogany Brown Burst Low Gloss gives left-handed bassists the fast, modern SR feel with a flexible active/passive electronics setup. Its okoume body provides a bright, solid foundation, while the slim SR body shape keeps the bass comfortable for long rehearsals, stage sets and regular practice.

The SR4 5-piece roasted maple/walnut neck is heat-treated for added stability, durability and resistance to moisture and temperature changes. With a 864 mm (34”) scale, 38 mm (1.5”) nut width, rosewood fretboard, 305 mm (12”) radius and 24 medium frets, it feels quick without losing control across the full register.

Bartolini BH2 pickups give the SR500AL a tight bottom-end, punchy midrange and smooth response, with long blade pole pieces helping balance output from string to string. The Ibanez Custom Electronics 3-band EQ gives you bass, mid and treble shaping, while the EQ bypass switch lets the treble control work as a passive tone knob.

The MR5S bridge allows +/-1.5mm adjustable string spacing around 19 mm (0.75”), so right-hand feel can be fine-tuned to suit your playing style.
