The Ibanez PA series feature instruments that are designed to capture the nuances of fingerstyle and percussive players. A unique asymmetrical jumbo body creates rich, deep lows, and has plenty of real estate on the treble side for tapping, and the body cutaway and bridge are specifically shaped to be used as tapping surfaces. A multiple pickup system utilises stereo outputs as well as a contact pickup, which is positioned in prime locations to ensure the nuances of your playing style are accurately captured. The PA series also come with a premium padded gig bag to get your instrument safely from gig to gig.

The Ibanez PA300E NSL PA Solid Top Modified Jumbo Acoustic Guitar, finished in Satin Top Natural, features a solid German Spruce top, combined with Pau Ferro back and sides for dynamic and responsive tones, with plenty of clarity. A 5-Piece African Mahogany/Pau Ferro neck, combined with Macassar Ebony fretboard with 20 Jumbo frets, makes for speedy fingerstyle playability. The PA300E has a 25.75" scale length, perfect for maintaining proper string tension in both standard E, and drop-tunings. The PA300E's multi-pickup system combines an Ibanez AP11 Magnetic pickup, T-Bar Undersaddle pickup, and a Contact pickup with three transducers.

The small, lightweight AP11 magnetic pickup is positioned so that it won't inhibit the natural vibrations of the solid wood top. It provides a highly responsive, transparent tone, with minimal feedback, reflecting the natural acoustic resonance of the PA300E. The T-bar under-saddle pickup reduces noise and provides wide range of natural piezo-style sounds. It also captures palm hits and delivers a bass drum-like response. The Block Contact pickup is placed on the neck block, making it resistant to feedback, and allowing it to evenly capture percussive sound all the way from the body to the neck. It also adds some airiness and brightness to the piezo-style sound by capturing acoustic tones from within the body. The Contact pickup consists of three transducers facilitating organic individual note clarity, as well as naturally reproducing percussive body tapping techniques. These pickups can be blended using the onboard Ibanez Custom Electronics, while dual outputs allow different mix options (see specs below for greater detail).
