The Ibanez MDM1606 NML Mode Series 6-string bass combines a poplar burl top with an alder body, finished in Natural Mocha Low Gloss for a refined, natural aesthetic. A roasted maple neck with graphite reinforcement rods enhances stability, paired with a rosewood fretboard and 24 medium stainless steel frets for consistent feel and durability. The Super All Access Neck Joint supports smooth access across the full register.
Delta S6J passive pickups provide clear, balanced single-coil response, while the Sonitech S preamp delivers detailed shaping through a 3-band EQ, dual Hexa Mid banks, a three-way mid frequency switch, and a push-pull EQ bypass for passive operation. Additional features include an MR5S bridge with adjustable string spacing, Aero-light machine heads, a detachable finger ramp, luminescent side dots, and a supplied gig bag.
