The Ibanez MDM1605 NML Mode Series 5-string bass pairs a poplar burl top with an alder body, finished in Natural Mocha Low Gloss for a clean, understated look. A roasted maple neck improves long-term stability and feel, matched with a rosewood fretboard and 24 medium stainless steel frets for consistent response across the neck. The Super All Access Neck Joint supports unrestricted upper-fret access.
Delta S5J passive pickups deliver clear, balanced single-coil tone, while the Sonitech S preamp adds detailed control via a 3-band EQ, dual mid-range banks using the Hexa Mid system, a three-way mid frequency switch, and a push-pull EQ bypass for passive operation. Hardware highlights include an MR5S bridge with adjustable string spacing, Aero-light machine heads, a detachable finger ramp, luminescent side dots, and an included gig bag.
