Mode Series Control with Five-String Range
The Ibanez MDM1605 DTW Mode Series 5-string bass combines a poplar burl top with an alder body for a balanced, articulate response and a distinctive Deep Twilight finish. A roasted maple neck improves stability and feel, paired with a rosewood fretboard and 24 medium stainless steel frets for smooth, consistent playability across the full register. The Super All Access Neck Joint supports clean access to the upper frets without obstruction.
Delta S5J passive pickups deliver clear, hum-cancelling single-coil tone, while the Sonitech S preamp provides detailed shaping via a 3-band EQ, dual mid-range banks using the Hexa Mid system, a three-way mid frequency selector, and a push-pull EQ bypass for passive operation. An MR5S bridge with adjustable string spacing, Aero-light machine heads, detachable finger ramp, luminescent side dots, and an included gig bag complete the package.
