Mode Series with Natural Finish and Expanded Control
The Ibanez MDM1600 NML Mode Series bass pairs a poplar burl top with an alder body for a clear, balanced response and a natural low-gloss finish that highlights the grain. A roasted maple neck and rosewood fretboard provide stability and a smooth playing surface across 24 medium stainless steel frets, supported by the Super All Access Neck Joint for easy upper-register reach.
Dual Delta S4J passive pickups deliver clean, hum-cancelling single-coil tone. The Sonitech S preamp adds detailed shaping with a 3-band EQ, dual mid-range banks via the Hexa Mid system, a three-way mid frequency selector, and a push-pull EQ bypass for passive operation. An MR5S bridge with adjustable string spacing, Aero-light machine heads, detachable finger ramp, and included gig bag round out the design.
