The Ibanez MDM1600 CTL Mode Series bass refines a familiar design with premium materials and flexible electronics. A poplar burl top over an alder body delivers clarity and definition, paired with a roasted maple neck and rosewood fretboard for stability and a smooth feel across all 24 frets. Medium stainless steel frets and the Super All Access Neck Joint support clean articulation and easy upper-register access.
Dual Delta S4J passive pickups provide balanced, noise-free single-coil tone, while the Sonitech S preamp adds precise shaping through a 3-band EQ, dual mid-range banks via the Hexa Mid system, a three-way mid frequency selector, and a push-pull EQ bypass for passive operation. An MR5S bridge with adjustable string spacing, Aero-light machine heads, detachable finger ramp, and included gig bag complete the package.
