Powerful Dual-Humbucker Tone with Ten-Way Switching Flexibility

The Ibanez MB10 Marcelo Barbose Signature brings a modern AZ-style platform together with a pair of Ibanez Modern Custom Alnico V humbuckers. They deliver a powerful, quick response that works especially well with overdrive and distortion, while the dyna-MIX10 system and Alter Switch expand the guitar to ten tonal variations. Power Tap mode adds convincing single-coil-style sounds without giving up the full humbucker voices.

The Roasted Maple neck is heat-treated for increased stability and resistance to temperature and moisture changes, paired with a Jatoba fingerboard, 305 mm (12”) radius and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets. Its 648 mm (25.5”) scale and Super All Access Neck Joint support smooth movement into the upper register.

An Alder body with Maple top provides a balanced, bright response with added picking definition, while the T106 tremolo uses six independent saddles for precise string height and intonation adjustment. Locking machine heads and Chrome hardware complete the Black Night finish.
