These tonewoods are matched perfectly with a pair of custom-made GB Special Mini-Humbuckers. With plenty of articulation across the sonic spectrum, these pickups are perfect for clean, precise solos and fast-moving complex chord progressions. Because they're so clear and articulate, these pickups can even handle themselves when you turn up the gain. A GB-profile 3Pce Maple neck and Ebony fretboard with Artstar fret edge treatment make for hours of fast, comfortable playability, facilitating complex chord progressions up and down the fretboard. A series of acrylic & abalone inlays, in the fretboard, headstock, and bridge lend an air of sophistication to the GB10EM's aesthetics, matching in with the tortoiseshell, Ebony and gold appointments, and accentuated by a classic Sapphire Red finish.
