Warm Floating-Humbucker Jazz Tone with Prestige-Level Playability

The Ibanez Prestige GB10 George Benson Signature is a compact hollowbody built around a Spruce top with Maple back and sides, delivering the warm, articulate character expected from a traditional jazz guitar. Its pair of floating GB Special Alnico humbuckers sit off the body, helping preserve the hollowbody response while reducing feedback and producing a smooth, rounded amplified voice. Separate volume and tone controls for each pickup provide precise control over the neck, bridge or combined sounds.

The three-piece Maple set neck is paired with a bound Ebony fingerboard and 305 mm (12.01”) radius. Twenty-two medium frets receive Ibanez’s Prestige fret edge treatment for a smooth feel along the neck, while the 628 mm (24.7”) scale gives the strings a slightly more compact response under the fingers.

An Ebony bridge, GB10 tailpiece, Gotoh machine heads and distinctive half-bone/half-brass nut complete the Gold hardware setup. The Natural finish is complemented by Acrylic and Abalone block inlays. A Hardshell Case is included.
