The Ibanez GB10 BK is the long-standing signature hollowbody of jazz legend George Benson, crafted in Japan since 1977. It sports a compact single-cut hollow body with a spruce top and maple back and sides, delivering rich resonance and focused tone. A set-in three-piece maple neck with a bound ebony fingerboard (22 medium frets, acrylic/abalone split block inlays) offers fast, comfortable playability. Floating GB Special humbucker pickups float off the body to reduce feedback and provide smooth, woody jazz tones. Additional refinements include a half-bone/half-brass nut for balanced tone, an ebony bridge, Gotoh tuners, multi-ply binding, gold hardware, and a custom trapeze tailpiece. Controls include individual volume and tone for each pickup, plus a three-way toggle switch. A hard-shell case is included.
