The standout feature is the Fishman Fluence pickups, the first for bass to feature stainless covers. The Fishman 3-band EQ, developed exclusively for Ibanez, includes a newly added mid control with a center frequency of 630Hz, allowing precise tonal sculpting.

Additional features include Graph Tech RATIO machine heads for easy, smooth, and accurate tuning, an MR5S bridge with adjustable saddles for variable string spacing, and a Single Coil Mode switch for added tonal flexibility. The Fishman Fluence Voice Select switch offers a diverse palette of sounds, with options for classic, fat, round tones (Voice 1), full frequency, full dynamics (Voice 2), and more, including a Single Coil Mode with a narrower magnetic field.
