Featuring a short, 30.75 inch (781mm) scale length, the all mahogany set-neck Swede Bass offers enormous sustain and easy playability. One of the most important traits inherited from the Swede guitar is Hagstrom's classic tailpiece design with its massive blocks directly coupled to the body for optimal tonal transmission, a key contributor to the Swede Bass's thunderous, piano-like tones.

Pickups on the Swede Bass are derived from its not-too-distant cousin, the Viking Bass, and will delight players looking for sonic versatility; from classic to modern, these pickups deliver it all.
