A Modern Jet with Chambered Resonance and Expanded Tonal Control

The Gretsch Electromatic Premier Jet builds on the long-standing Jet formula while introducing modern hardware and electronics that expand its versatility. Its chambered mahogany body paired with a carved maple top creates a lively response with strong attack, focused mids and a wide low end. The chambering adds a touch of openness to the tone while maintaining the punch and sustain expected from a Jet.

Sphera Twin Six humbuckers provide a dynamic voice that moves easily from clear, articulate cleans to thick overdriven tones. Each pickup uses twelve adjustable pole pieces for detailed control over string balance and attack. A master volume with treble bleed keeps the sound clear when rolling back the level, while individual no-load tone controls allow precise shaping of each pickup. Pulling the master volume engages the Lumen Filter, tightening the response for sharper, more percussive tones.

The mahogany neck uses a comfortable Performance C profile and pairs with a bound ebony fingerboard featuring a 10 to 14 inch compound radius. This design keeps lower-position chords relaxed while allowing smoother bends and faster passages higher up the neck. Luminlay side dots improve visibility when playing under low lighting.

The Lockdown adjustable wraparound bridge anchors firmly to the body to improve sustain and attack, while locking tuners and locking strap buttons provide practical stability for rehearsals, recording sessions and live shows.
