Balanced Alnico 2 Punch with a Rounded, Substantial Neck

The Gibson SG Standard Hand-Picked Tobacco Burst pairs its limited-edition finish with the familiar response of an all-Mahogany SG. The 490R neck humbucker has a warm, rounded voice for clean passages and fluid lead work, while the 490T bridge pickup adds clearer attack for rock riffs and driven solos. Separate volume and tone controls let you balance both pickups or reshape each one independently.

A Rounded Mahogany neck gives the fretting hand more support than a slim profile, while the bound Rosewood fingerboard, 304.8 mm (12”) radius and 22 medium jumbo frets keep bends and vibrato smooth. The glued-in long-tenon joint meets the body at the 19th fret, supporting resonance and sustain across the 628.65 mm (24.75”) scale.

An Aluminium Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge, Aluminium Stop Bar and Grover Rotomatic tuners provide a stable, adjustable setup. Chrome hardware and the Black five-ply full-face pickguard complete the late-’60s-inspired look. A Gibson Soft Shell Case is included.
