Modern Les Paul Feel with Expanded Tonal Control

The Gibson Les Paul Studio Session Cherry is a refined take on the classic Les Paul, built for players who want familiar tone with more flexibility and a lighter, more comfortable feel. The mahogany body with an AA figured maple cap delivers that recognisable Les Paul balance of warmth and midrange punch, with added clarity and definition from the maple.

The Ultra Modern weight relief makes a noticeable difference compared to traditional solid Les Paul builds, reducing overall weight without losing the core character. Paired with the SlimTaper neck and contoured heel, it feels faster and more accessible, especially when moving up the neck.

The ‘57 Classic and ‘57 Classic+ pickups keep things in a vintage output range, but the push/pull controls open up a much wider tonal range. Coil tapping gives you leaner, more articulate sounds, while phase switching and pure bypass add more distinct options for shaping your tone straight from the guitar.

The ebony fingerboard adds a slightly tighter, more immediate response compared to rosewood, helping notes feel more defined under both clean and driven settings.
