Left-Handed 12-Fret J-45 Warmth With Easy Acoustic Response

The Gibson J-45 Century 12-Fret Left-Handed in Satin Vintage Amber brings the round-shoulder J-45 design into a left-handed 12-fret format. Its Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides produce a warm, balanced acoustic voice with clear note-to-note response, while the thin satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish keeps the feel natural and understated.

The 12-fret neck-to-body joint is the key design change. By shifting the bridge plate closer to the wider, more active area of the body, the J-45 Century 12-Fret produces a warmer, punchier and more resonant response than a standard 14-fret layout. That makes it particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing, lighter pick attack and vocal accompaniment where the guitar needs to respond easily rather than be driven hard.

The mahogany neck uses a SlimTaper 12-Fret profile, giving the fretting hand a comfortable, efficient shape across the 24.75" scale length. A 19-fret rosewood fingerboard, mother-of-pearl dot inlays, bone nut and saddle, TUSQ bridge pins, rectangle rosewood bridge and 3-on-a-plate tuners with cream buttons complete the vintage-leaning acoustic setup. A Century Series tweed hardshell case is included.
