Left-Handed 12-Fret J-45 Warmth With Satin Ebony Restraint

The Gibson J-45 Century 12-Fret Left-Handed in Satin Ebony gives left-handed players the warm, responsive feel of a 12-fret round-shoulder acoustic. Its Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides produce a balanced voice with clear note separation, while the thin satin nitrocellulose lacquer finish keeps the guitar feeling smooth and understated in the hands.

The 12-fret neck-to-body joint is the main performance difference from a standard 14-fret layout. By relocating the bridge plate closer to the wider, more active area of the body, the J-45 Century 12-Fret delivers a warmer, punchier and more resonant response. That design makes the guitar especially useful for fingerstyle playing, lighter pick attack and singer-songwriter accompaniment where touch sensitivity and body warmth matter more than sheer projection.

The mahogany neck has a SlimTaper 12-Fret profile, giving the fretting hand a comfortable shape across the 24.75" scale length. A 19-fret rosewood fingerboard, mother-of-pearl dot inlays, bone nut and saddle, TUSQ bridge pins, rectangle rosewood bridge, L-00 style pickguard and 3-on-a-plate tuners with cream buttons complete the acoustic setup. A Century Series tweed hardshell case is included.
