Rich Hummingbird Tone with Detailed HiFi DNA Amplification

The Gibson Hummingbird Standard HiFi DNA in Vintage Cherry Sunburst pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides and traditional scalloped X-bracing. Its square-shoulder body delivers a rich, deep acoustic voice that can move from firm rhythm strumming to more detailed picked lines, while the gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and iconic Hummingbird pickguard give it the unmistakable look of the Hummingbird model.

The mahogany neck has a Rounded profile, 628.65 mm (24.75") scale and 304.8 mm (12") Indian rosewood fingerboard radius, with 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl Parallelogram inlays. A rosewood Reverse Belly bridge, TUSQ nut, saddle and bridge pins, and nickel Grover Rotomatic tuners complete the hardware.

The Baggs HiFi DNA system uses two lightweight bridge-plate sensors, each paired with its own optimised preamp. This setup is designed to capture both string detail and soundboard resonance while preserving the guitar’s warmth and dynamic response when amplified. Soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls keep adjustment close at hand without interrupting the traditional appearance.
