Left-Handed Hummingbird Character with Natural HiFi DNA Amplification

The Gibson Hummingbird Standard HiFi DNA Left-Handed in Vintage Sunburst combines a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides and traditional scalloped X-bracing. Its square-shoulder body delivers the rich, deep response associated with the Hummingbird, giving you enough body for strong rhythm work while still responding well to more detailed picking.

The mahogany neck has a Rounded profile, 628.65 mm (24.75") scale and 304.8 mm (12") Indian rosewood fingerboard radius, with 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl Parallelogram inlays. A rosewood Reverse Belly bridge, TUSQ nut, saddle and bridge pins, and nickel Grover Rotomatic tuners complete the hardware, while the gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and Hummingbird pickguard give the guitar its familiar visual identity.

The Baggs HiFi DNA system uses two lightweight sensors mounted to the internal bridge plate, each paired with its own optimised preamp. By capturing both string detail and soundboard movement, it is designed to preserve the guitar’s warmth, body resonance and dynamic response when amplified. Soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls keep adjustment easy to reach without adding prominent controls to the body.
