Left-Handed Hummingbird Versatility with Detailed HiFi DNA Amplification

The Gibson Hummingbird Standard HiFi DNA Left-Handed in Vintage Cherry Sunburst combines a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides and traditional scalloped X-bracing. Its square-shoulder body produces a rich, deep acoustic response that works equally well for broad rhythm strumming and more detailed picked lines, while the gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and iconic Hummingbird pickguard give it the unmistakable presentation of this legendary model.

The mahogany neck has a Rounded profile, 628.65 mm (24.75") scale and 304.8 mm (12") Indian rosewood fingerboard radius, with 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl Parallelogram inlays. A rosewood Reverse Belly bridge, TUSQ nut, saddle and bridge pins, and nickel Grover Rotomatic tuners complete the hardware.

The Baggs HiFi DNA system uses two lightweight sensors mounted to the internal bridge plate, each paired with its own optimised preamp. By capturing both string detail and soundboard movement, the system is designed to retain more of the guitar’s warmth, body resonance and dynamic response when amplified. Soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls keep adjustment close at hand without adding prominent controls to the body.
