Left-Handed Hummingbird Versatility in Striking Southwestern Turquoise

The Gibson Hummingbird Standard HiFi DNA Left-Handed in Southwestern Turquoise pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides and traditional scalloped X-bracing. Its square-shoulder body produces a rich, deep acoustic response that handles strong rhythm strumming as readily as more detailed picking, while the gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and iconic Hummingbird pickguard give it an unmistakable presence.

The mahogany neck has a Rounded profile, 628.65 mm (24.75") scale and 304.8 mm (12") Indian rosewood fingerboard radius, with 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl Parallelogram inlays. A rosewood Reverse Belly bridge, TUSQ nut, saddle and bridge pins, and nickel Grover Rotomatic tuners complete the playing hardware.

The Baggs HiFi DNA system uses two lightweight sensors mounted to the internal bridge plate, each paired with its own optimised preamp. By responding to both string detail and soundboard movement, the system is designed to retain the guitar’s warmth, body resonance and dynamic range when amplified. Soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls provide convenient adjustment while keeping the body free of prominent control panels.
