The Gibson Hummingbird Special Satin Ebony delivers the unmistakable warmth and midrange presence of this iconic square-shoulder acoustic in a more streamlined, player-focused build. A solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides produces a balanced, expressive tone with smooth highs and a controlled low end that sits cleanly in recordings and live mixes.

The slightly thinner concert-depth body improves comfort while tightening the bass response, making it easier to handle without losing that familiar Hummingbird voice.

A rounded neck profile and 12" radius rosewood fingerboard provide a comfortable, natural playing feel suited to both strumming and more detailed parts. Equipped with an L.R. Baggs Element Bronze pickup and soundhole-mounted volume control, it’s ready for stage and studio use straight out of the included premium softshell case.
