The Fender Vintera III Early '60s Bass VI sits in that space between guitar and bass, tuned an octave below standard guitar but still played like one. The 30" scale adds a bit more tension, so the low end stays controlled rather than getting loose. The early '60s C neck has a rounded, familiar feel, and the 7.25" radius keeps chords sitting comfortably across the board.
