The Fender Telepath Guitar Wireless Transmitter Only is an add-on transmitter for expanding an existing Telepath Wireless System. It is ideal for players who want quick cable-free instrument changes onstage, with each Telepath Receiver able to sync with up to three transmitters. Turn one transmitter off, turn the next one on, and the new instrument connects automatically.

The Telepath system uses 5.8GHz digital wireless transmission, helping avoid the crowded 2.4GHz band used by many wireless devices. It delivers full-frequency audio with clear response, low 4ms latency and up to 21.3 m (70 ft) of wireless range.

The transmitter has an articulating input plug to suit a wide range of instrument jacks, plus an active/passive switch for guitars, basses, acoustic-electrics and active instruments. Built-in cable tone simulation helps retain a natural playing feel. The rechargeable battery provides up to 8 hours of use from a 2-hour charge.
