Secure Your Strap with a Positive Locking System

The Fender Security Strap Lock System Chrome is designed for players who want a more reliable way to keep their strap attached during rehearsals and live performance. It replaces standard strap buttons with a locking system that clicks firmly into place, giving you a secure connection that won’t come loose under movement.

The system uses a two-part design, with dedicated buttons mounted to the guitar and locking mechanisms fixed to your strap. Once connected, the strap locks lock onto the button and stays in place until you release it using the pull-pin. Compared to standard strap buttons, which rely on friction and can slip over time, this creates a much more secure hold, especially when moving around on stage.

Because the locking mechanism stays attached to your strap, you can easily move the same strap between multiple guitars fitted with compatible buttons (additional buttons are not included and must be purchased separately). This makes it practical for players rotating between instruments without needing to swap straps mid-set.

The kit includes two strap locks, matching buttons, mounting screws, and felt washers to help protect your instrument’s finish during installation and use.
