Classic Vibes
A tribute to the 1960s evolution of the Strat, the Classic Vibe '60s Stratocaster creates incredible tone courtesy of a trio of Fender-Designed alnico single-coil pickups. Player-friendly features include a slim, comfortable "C"-shaped neck profile with an easy-playing 9.5"-radius fingerboard and narrow-tall frets, as well as a vintage-style tremolo system for expressive string bending effects. This throwback Squier model also features 1960s-inspired headstock markings, rich-looking nickel-plated hardware and a slick vintage-tint gloss neck finish for an old-school vibe.

Squier Classic Vibe 60's StratocasterBy: Paul Banks on 11 February 2025This Squier is a step up from the entry level guitars in the range. The example I purchased was exceptionally light in weight, upon investigation the body wood is a form of NATO, more like mahogany rather than alder but , it's resonant and light which makes for a very comfortable playing experience. The neck is quite a small C shape, 9.5 " radius, very comfortable with well seated and finished frets. Pickups are alnico and sound quite good , very Strat like with drive or clean sounds. If you are debating between this and the new Fender standard Strat, this is an all round solid choice, much lighter, better electronics than the new standard Strat. Highly recommended.
