The Fender Satin Roasted Maple Jazz Bass Neck combines a Flat Oval profile with a 305 mm (12") radius Roasted Maple fingerboard and 20 jumbo frets, giving you a flatter, speed-focused playing surface. Rolled fingerboard edges add a broken-in feel, while the satin urethane back finish keeps position shifts smooth.

The neck measures 21.08 mm (0.830") thick at the first fret and 22.86 mm (0.900") at the 12th, with an 864 mm (34") scale and 38.1 mm (1.5") synthetic bone nut. Roasted Maple also provides increased resistance to humidity shifts.

Four-bolt mounting, four-screw tuner mounting and a head-adjust single-action truss rod complete the design. Because the neck is supplied unmounted, its nut slots must be cut by qualified personnel, and fret work, neck-pocket fitting or further setup may also be required.
