Maximum Neck Depth with a Substantial Large U Profile

The Fender Satin Roasted Maple Fat Stratocaster Neck is built for players who prefer a genuinely substantial neck rather than a slim modern profile. Its oversized Large “U” shape measures 25.14 mm (0.990”) deep at both the first and 12th frets, giving it pronounced shoulders and a consistent, planted feel along the full playing length.

The Roasted Maple neck is paired with a Rosewood fingerboard, 241 mm (9.5”) radius and 22 medium jumbo frets for comfortable fretting and bends. Hand-rolled fingerboard edges add a more broken-in feel, while the satin urethane back finish keeps movement along the neck smooth. Scale length is 648 mm (25.5”).

A 42 mm (1.650”) synthetic bone nut is pre-slotted with pilot string-location grooves, with final nut cutting, fret work, neck-pocket fitting and setup potentially required during installation.
