Start a Vintage-Style Telecaster Build with Genuine Worn-In Character
This Fender Road Worn ’50s Telecaster replacement body combines an Alder foundation with a hand-distressed White Blonde Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish. Each body carries slightly different wear, giving every completed build its own aged appearance rather than an identical distressing pattern.
The SS routing suits a traditional two-pickup Telecaster layout, while the shielded cavities provide useful preparation for the electronics installation. It is drilled for a four-screw vintage-style bridge and uses a four-bolt neck pocket for compatible Fender or Squier necks.
No pickguard mounting holes are pre-drilled, allowing the final screw pattern to be matched to the chosen compatible pickguard. A jack retainer clip is already installed, reducing one step during assembly. The Alder construction provides a balanced, lively response suited to a broad range of playing styles.
At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Telecaster body is a strong starting point for players building a traditional SS instrument and wanting a genuine Road Worn finish, vintage-style bridge mounting and the familiar response of Alder.
