Build a ’50s-Style Stratocaster with Genuine Worn-In Detail

This Fender Road Worn ’50s Stratocaster replacement body gives a traditional SSS build the look of an instrument that has already spent years being played. Its hand-distressed 2-Tone Sunburst Nitrocellulose Lacquer finish varies from body to body, so the wear pattern on each completed guitar will be slightly different.

The Alder construction provides a balanced, lively foundation for clean chords, responsive rhythm work and driven lead tones. Shielded pickup cavities are routed for three Stratocaster single coils, while the familiar body contours keep the guitar comfortable against the player when seated or standing.

The body is drilled for a six-screw vintage-style synchronised tremolo with 56.4 mm (2-7/32”) mounting width and uses a four-bolt neck pocket for compatible Fender or Squier components. No pickguard mounting holes are pre-drilled, allowing the screw pattern to be matched to the chosen compatible pickguard.
