Two Distortion Engines for Stackable, Blendable Gain

The Fender Pugilist Distortion V2 is an analogue dual distortion pedal built for players who want more than one fixed drive sound from a single stompbox. It houses two independent distortion engines, each with its own footswitch plus Gain, Tone and Level controls, so you can set up separate distortion voices and bring them in as needed.

Engine A is voiced for treble-rich lead drive tones, while Engine B delivers thicker, heavier distortion. The Path switch is where the pedal becomes especially flexible, letting the two engines run in different signal paths. The series modes stack one circuit into the other for layered, cascading gain, while parallel mode runs both engines side by side so you can blend articulate bite with chunkier saturation.

Global Mid Cut and Bass Boost switches add extra shaping once the engines are set, helping you tighten or thicken the final sound. The Pugilist V2 also includes switchable true or buffered bypass, latching or momentary footswitch operation, top-mounted jacks and a road-ready aluminium enclosure.
