Warm, Responsive Strat Tones Without a Full Rewire

The Fender Custom Shop Pre-Wired Stratocaster Pickguard gives you three Custom ’69 single-coil pickups in a complete, ready-wired SSS assembly. Enamel-coated magnet wire produces a warm vintage-style sound, while Alnico 5 magnets add focus and let changes in picking strength come through clearly.

Staggered pole pieces help keep the output balanced from string to string, so chord work stays even and lead lines respond consistently across the fingerboard. The five-way switch gives you each pickup individually, plus bridge and middle or middle and neck combinations for a broader range of Strat sounds.

Controls include master volume, neck tone and a shared bridge and middle tone control. The four-ply Tortoiseshell guard has an 11-hole modern layout with aged white pickup covers, knobs and switch tip. Installation only requires soldering the output-jack and ground wires before fitting the guard.
