Fender Player II Telecaster HH RW Cactus Gray

Telecaster Shape with Thicker Dual-Humbucker Muscle

The Fender Player II Telecaster HH RW Cactus Gray is a 648 mm (25.5”) scale electric guitar for players who like Telecaster simplicity but want a fuller, heavier pickup voice. The alder body gives the guitar a balanced foundation, while the dual Player Series Alnico 2 humbuckers deliver articulate highs, muscular mids and chunky lows for rock rhythm, thicker clean parts and lead lines that need more weight.

This HH setup moves the guitar away from traditional Tele single-coil snap and into a warmer, broader sound that handles gain more confidently. The neck humbucker gives you creamy warmth for clean chords and smoother lead work, while the bridge humbucker has enough roar for palm-muted riffs, bigger chorus sections and overdriven rhythm parts.

The Modern C maple neck feels smooth and practical, with a satin urethane back finish that helps you move up and down the neck easily. The slab rosewood fingerboard has a slightly rounder feel than maple, while the 241 mm (9.5”) radius and 22 medium jumbo frets make bends, vibrato and higher-position playing feel comfortable and controlled.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Telecaster HH is best for players who want a straightforward Fender feel with humbucker thickness, simple controls and enough punch for rock rhythm, heavier pop parts and everyday gigging.
