Familiar Jazz Bass Feel with a Smooth, Broken-In Maple Fingerboard

The Fender Player II Series Jazz Bass Neck combines a Maple neck and Maple fingerboard with a Modern C profile that feels comfortable and easy to move around. Hand-rolled fingerboard edges add a gently broken-in feel, while the satin urethane finish on the back keeps position shifts smooth. A 241 mm (9.5") radius and 20 medium jumbo frets give you a familiar balance of comfortable fretting and responsive playability.

The neck measures 20.32 mm (0.800") thick at the first fret and 22.86 mm (0.900") at the 12th, with an 864 mm (34") scale and 38.1 mm (1.5") synthetic bone nut. The nut includes pilot string-location grooves to assist with final slot filing.

A walnut skunk stripe, head-adjust single-action truss rod, four-bolt mounting and four pre-drilled tuner holes complete the design. As the neck is supplied unmounted, qualified installation may require final nut cutting, fret work, neck-pocket fitting and setup.
