The Fender Player II Precision Bass RW Cactus Gray is a 864 mm (34”) scale electric bass made for players who want strong low-end punch, simple controls and a bassline-first sound that sits easily in a mix. The alder body gives the bass a balanced foundation, while the Player Series Alnico 5 split single-coil pickup delivers sweet highs, musical mids and strong lows for rock eighth-notes, pop basslines, picked parts and steady fingerstyle grooves.

The Modern C maple neck feels smooth and practical, with a satin urethane back finish that helps you move across the neck more easily when shifting between positions. The 41.3 mm (1.625”) nut width gives the first few frets a confident P Bass feel, with a little more room for steady fretting and controlled attack than slimmer bass necks.

The slab rosewood fingerboard has a slightly rounder feel and response than maple, which suits players who want clean attack without too much extra snap under the fingers. The 241 mm (9.5”) radius and 20 medium jumbo frets give the bass a modern playing surface for clean fretting, slides and consistent note control.
