Fender Player II Jazz Bass RW Rallye Orange

Fast Jazz Bass Feel with Rounder Rosewood Response

The Fender Player II Jazz Bass RW Rallye Orange is a 34” (864 mm) scale electric bass made for players who want quick Jazz Bass playability with clear single-coil definition. The alder body gives the bass a balanced foundation, while the Player Series Alnico 5 Jazz Bass pickups deliver bright highs, growling mids and solid low-end response for fingerstyle grooves, picked rock lines, funk parts and everyday stage work.

The Modern C maple neck has a smooth, practical profile, and the satin urethane back finish helps you move across the neck more easily when shifting between positions. The 38.1 mm (1.5”) nut width gives the first few frets that familiar slimmer Jazz Bass feel, which makes faster lines and tighter left-hand stretches feel more manageable than wider-necked bass designs.

The slab rosewood fingerboard has a slightly rounder feel and response than maple, which suits players who want clean attack without too much extra snap under the fingers. The 241 mm (9.5”) radius, rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets give the bass a modern playing surface for clean fretting, slides and confident movement across the neck.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Jazz Bass is best for players who want a slim, comfortable bass with rosewood-board warmth, clear Alnico 5 pickup punch and simple controls that cover rock, funk, pop and regular gigging.
