Fender John 5 Signature Ghost Telecaster Arctic White

High-Output Telecaster Attack with a Stripped-Back Control Layout

The Fender John 5 Signature Ghost Telecaster takes the familiar Telecaster outline into much heavier territory. Its Nyatoh body is finished in Arctic White with a matching headcap, mirrored pickguard, red pickup covers and red controls, while a pair of DiMarzio D'Activator humbuckers delivers tight low end, searing clarity and harmonically rich modern crunch. They are voiced to capture the impact of active pickups while retaining strong dynamic response.

The Custom John 5 Medium “C” Maple neck has a Satin finish, with a 241 mm (9.5") Maple fingerboard, 22 narrow tall frets and a 648 mm (25.5") scale. That combination keeps bends fluid while giving the fretting hand a familiar Fender-style platform. Controls are deliberately minimal: one Master Volume, a 3-position pickup toggle and a killswitch that cuts the signal for as long as it is held, making rapid stutter effects easy to work into riffs and leads. A six-saddle string-through hardtail bridge and locking tuners provide the fixed-bridge hardware setup, while John 5 artwork appears on the signature neck plate.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this signature electric guitar is aimed squarely at players who want aggressive humbucker output, fast-access performance controls and hardtail stability without losing the direct feel of a Telecaster.
