Maintain Telecaster Bridge Response With Vintage-Style Barrel Saddles
The Fender Highway One Telecaster Bridge Assembly is a chrome-plated steel bridge designed for Highway One Telecaster guitars. Its string-through-body design anchors the strings through the guitar body, supporting strong transfer of string vibration and a firm playing response under the picking hand.
The three vintage-style chrome-plated barrel saddles use single string grooves to guide each string while retaining the shared-saddle layout associated with traditional Telecaster bridge designs. Compared with a six-saddle bridge, a three-barrel saddle setup has a simpler mechanical layout and a more direct feel, though intonation adjustment is shared between string pairs rather than controlled individually for every string.
The package includes the non-serialized bridge plate with Fender stamp, three barrel saddles, saddle height screws, intonation screws and springs, and a saddle height adjustment wrench. Bridge mounting screws and pickup mounting screws are not included. The bridge uses four-screw mounting and modern-style string spacing of approximately 2-1/16".
At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this bridge assembly is best for Highway One Telecaster players or repairers who want to preserve the correct string-through design and three-barrel saddle feel while replacing worn or missing bridge hardware.
