A Lavender Haze Strat With Expanded Tonal Range
The Fender Player II FSR Stratocaster in CME Exclusive Lavender Haze pairs a timeless Strat platform with carefully considered upgrades originally requested by Chicago Music Exchange (CME). An alder body delivers familiar balance and snap, matched with a Modern C maple neck and rolled-edge slab rosewood fingerboard for a smooth, broken-in feel. The satin neck finish keeps things fast and comfortable across long sessions.
CME Full Dip Strat pickups build on a Vintera II foundation, using Alnico 2 magnets and a subtle 5 percent overwind to soften the top end while adding warmth and presence through the mids. A custom Blender Mod circuit dramatically expands the Strat’s vocabulary, blending the neck pickup into bridge positions for wiry, Tele-style tones alongside classic Strat chime. A 2-point tremolo and ClassicGear tuners round out a stable, expressive setup.
