Build a Flexible HSH Stratocaster Around a Solid Alder Core

This Fender Deluxe Series Stratocaster replacement body gives builders an Alder foundation with HSH routing, leaving plenty of scope for combining humbuckers and single-coil pickups. Its Gloss Polyester Candy Apple Red finish provides a durable exterior, while the familiar Stratocaster contours keep the body comfortable against the player whether seated or standing.

A contoured neck heel improves access when playing higher up the fingerboard, making the body particularly practical for lead-focused builds. The offset four-bolt neck pocket is designed for compatible Fender or Squier necks.

The body is pre-drilled for a modern two-point tremolo bridge with 56.4 mm (2.22”) spacing. It has no pickguard mounting holes, leaving the final screw pattern open for the compatible HSH pickguard chosen for the build. The electronics cavities are not shielded.
