The Fender American Pure Vintage Stratocaster Pat. Pending Saddle Kit is a nickel-plated steel saddle set for compatible Stratocaster bridges with vintage 2 3/16" mounting spacing and a vintage six-screw mounting design. Each saddle is stamped with Fender Pat. Pend., giving the bridge the correct visual detail for vintage-style restoration, modification or personalisation.

The set includes six nickel-plated steel saddles, along with intonation springs, Phillips head intonation screws and hex saddle height adjustment screws. These parts are central to proper bridge setup, as saddle position affects intonation while saddle height affects action, string clearance and playing feel.

This kit was introduced on the 1954 Stratocaster guitar and is used on American Vintage 56, 59 and 65 Stratocaster guitars. Compared with replacing an entire bridge, a saddle kit lets players refresh the contact points and adjustment hardware while retaining the existing compatible bridge plate.
