This Fender American Vintage II 1973 Stratocaster replacement neck combines a 1973 C profile with the distinctive construction details of an early-’70s Strat. Its depth progresses from 21.59 mm (.850”) at the first fret to 23.11 mm (.910”) at the twelfth, giving chords, rhythm work and lead passages a comfortable, streamlined foundation.

The Maple fingerboard has a traditional 184.1 mm (7.25”) radius and 21 vintage tall frets. This pairing retains the curved vintage geometry while providing extra fret height for cleaner bends and more controlled vibrato. A Gloss Polyurethane finish, large ’70s-style headstock and Black dot inlays complete the period-inspired presentation.

The neck uses three-bolt mounting with Micro-Tilt adjustment, a Bullet-style truss rod and a ’70s vintage-style two-screw tuner configuration. Its 42 mm (1.650”) bone nut has pilot grooves that require final slot cutting. Neck-pocket fitting, fret work and a full setup may also be necessary.
