Compensated Brass Saddle Upgrade for Vintage-Style Telecaster Bridges
The Fender American Vintage Hot Rod 3-Saddle Telecaster Bridge Assembly is a nickel bridge assembly made for players restoring, modifying or upgrading a compatible Telecaster. Originally released on the Hot Rod ’52 Telecaster, it fits a vintage four-screw mount platform and adds compensated, intonatable brass saddles for more practical setup control.
The plated-steel bridge plate is stamped Fender Pat. Pend. 77038, giving the assembly a vintage-style look without using a serialised plate. The three brass saddles keep the traditional Telecaster bridge format, while the compensated design helps improve intonation compared with a basic straight three-saddle layout.
The package includes slot-head saddle height screws, Phillips head intonation screws, intonation springs, four vintage-style slot-head bridge mounting screws and a saddle height adjustment wrench. String ferrules are sold separately.
At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this bridge assembly is best for Telecaster players who want vintage-style three-saddle character with improved intonation, brass saddle response and genuine Fender Hot Rod fitment.
