Fender American Ultra II FSR Stratocaster MN Black Pickguard Black

Expanded Strat Versatility with Fast Upper-Fret Access

The Fender American Ultra II Stratocaster is designed for players who want a wide tonal range and a highly refined playing feel without compromise. A select alder body with sculpted contours balances weight and resonance, producing a clear, even response that works equally well for clean detail and driven tones. The sculpted neck heel and deep body contours noticeably improve access to higher frets, making lead work and extended range playing feel less restricted.

A quartersawn maple neck with a Modern D profile and Ultra Satin finish provides a stable, smooth surface that encourages relaxed left-hand movement. The 10 inch to 14 inch compound radius fingerboard flattens as you move up the neck, supporting comfortable chord work near the nut and cleaner bends higher up. Medium jumbo frets and rolled fingerboard edges further reduce hand fatigue during longer sessions.

Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Strat pickups deliver clear, articulate tones without hum, while the S-1 switch adds additional pickup combinations that expand usable sounds without changing the core Strat response. A two-point tremolo with a cold rolled steel block and locking tuners supports tuning stability during expressive vibrato use.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Stratocaster is best for players who want maximum tonal flexibility and effortless playability, because the advanced neck design and expanded electronics support confident performance across studio and stage use.
