Fender American Professional Precision Bass MN Aged Cherry Burst

P-Bass Punch with a Modified ’63 C Neck and Straightforward Passive Control

The Fender American Professional Precision Bass keeps the signal path simple: one V-Mod III split-coil pickup, Master Volume and Master Tone. The pickup delivers the punch and growl associated with the P-Bass, while ClassicGear Precision Potentiometers give the controls a smooth, consistent sweep when you want to back off the level or shape the top end.

The Maple neck uses a Modified 1963 “C” profile with rolled fingerboard edges and a “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish on the back. Its 241 mm (9.5") Maple fingerboard, 20 Narrow Tall frets and 41.3 mm (1.625") Bone nut keep the feel familiar, while the sculpted heel opens up access further along the 864 mm (34") scale.

An Ash body finished in Aged Cherry Burst is matched with a 4-ply Aged White Pearloid pickguard. The 4-saddle HiMass Pro bridge allows either string-through-body or top-load stringing, and a Deluxe Moulded Case is included.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Precision Bass suits players who want the direct attack and growl of a P-Bass with a refined neck and an uncomplicated passive control layout.
