Fender American Professional Jazzmaster RW Black

Jazzmaster Chime with a Thicker Series Voice and More Tremolo Range

The Fender American Professional Jazzmaster takes the familiar sparkle and chime of a pair of V-Mod III Jazzmaster single coils and gives you more ways to shape them. The bridge pickup can be tapped from its stronger, throatier voice to a lower-output vintage-style sound with the push-push tone control, adding another useful texture without changing the basic control layout.

With the slide switch down, the lead circuit gives you Master Volume, Master Tone and a 3-position pickup toggle. Flip it up and both pickups run in series through the rhythm circuit for a thicker, higher-output sound, with separate thumbwheel volume and tone controls. That makes it easy to move from clearer Jazzmaster tones into something denser without swapping guitars or reaching for a pedal.

The Deep “C” Maple neck has rolled Rosewood fingerboard edges, a 241 mm (9.5") radius, 22 Narrow Tall frets and a “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish on the back. The Panorama Jazzmaster Tremolo with pop-in arm covers everything from subtle warble to deeper dives, paired with a ClassicGear J-Bridge. The Alder body wears a Black finish with a 4-ply Tortoiseshell pickguard, and a Deluxe Moulded Case is included.

At Riffs & Licks Music, we think this Jazzmaster is a great fit for players who want the familiar offset chime and tremolo feel but with more useful pickup voices available from the guitar itself.
